International Creatives Exchange (ICE) has officially launched Trade Indonesia, a business-to-business (B2B) platform that connects Indonesian businesses with international partners, buyers, and investors. The launch took place at She La Vie Grand Ballroom, Alam Sutera, Tangerang, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Trade Indonesia was inaugurated by Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Prof. Dr. Irwan Meilano, on behalf of Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono. Attendees included government officials, business associations, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, investors, academics, and international partners from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Turkey.

Carrying the tagline “Connecting Business, Expanding Opportunities,” Trade Indonesia addresses businesses’ need for market access, business networks, trade information, and cross-border collaboration.

Trade Indonesia is designed as a trade ecosystem rather than a simple company directory. It connects the business community with government, banks, investors, academia, associations, and international market networks.

To maintain credibility, every member goes through a curation process that verifies legal status, management, business sector, and company track record. Member and sector data will also be developed into market intelligence to help businesses identify target markets and potential partners.

The launch featured a panel discussion titled “Policy Becomes Market Access – Connect to Compete.” The panelists were Indonesia’s Deputy Minister of Law, Prof. Dr. Edward Omar Sharif Hiariej, and the Head of the Trade Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMP) at the Ministry of Trade, Djatmiko Bris Witjaksono. They discussed legal certainty, intellectual property protection, and business readiness for export markets.

In her message, Deputy Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri welcomed Trade Indonesia as an initiative that complements the government’s efforts to connect local producers with international buyers.

Two days after the launch, Trade Indonesia held a Gala Dinner and Business Matching in Jakarta in collaboration with the Indonesian Embassy in Islamabad and the Indonesian Consulate General in Karachi. The event brought together around 30 business leaders from Indonesia and Pakistan.

Going forward, Trade Indonesia will run ongoing programs across 12 business sectors, including seminars, exhibitions, training, business matching, and international trade missions. The goal is to turn connections into collaboration, and collaboration into real business transactions.
